The torture and death of Christ is not a pleasant story, but there is some really Good News that goes along with it. It is this Good News that ties all the pieces of His life and death together.

Through Jesus Christ humanity gained the right to eternal life, peace with God, a peace in our hearts that surpasses human understanding, and love that is beyond anything we could ever dream of or hope for.

It is a supernatural story with supernatural results.

Jesus Himself said:

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Jhn 14:6

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have {it} abundantly." Jhn 10:10

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." Jhn 6:40

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh." Jhn 6:47-51
